Catalyst Cleaning & Restoration

Cormetech offers both dry and wet cleaning of SCR catalysts that have been in severe service. Wet catalyst cleaning is provided in conjunction with Enerfab and Envirgy GmBh and is best suited for on site, rapid turnarounds. This process may be referred to as rejuvenation or regeneration.

Stages in an SCR Catalyst Cleaning Process


1. Removal of Ash

 
2. Vacuuming
     

3. Washing using a cleansing solution		  
4.Bubbling & aeration under pressure
Selective catalytic reduction cleaning refers to removal of physical restrictions due to buildup of Large Particulate Ash (LPA) or popcorn ash, and flyash that blocks flue gas access to the catalyst surface. Our catalyst cleaning methods can be dry or wet (using an aqueous solution) and may be done in situ, on-site, or off-site.
